  • Breakout session 1 – Up-skilling, re-skilling and retaining talent in EU Industry
    How can clusters facilitate addressing the skills related challenges that the European industry is dealing with? We will discuss the specific services clusters should develop for their members and the initiatives governments should put in place with the engagement of clusters for creating a skilled workforce and promoting up-skilling and re-skilling, as well as actions to attract and retain talent.

  • Breakout session 2 – Internationalisation of European SMEs
    How can clusters facilitate the internationalisation of European SMEs? We will discuss the benefits for SMEs in participating in global markets and value chains, what difficulties they face in this respect and through what actions clusters can help their members to connect with actors at foreign markets for trade and for partnering in R&D, sales, marketing, etc.

  • Breakout session 3 – Rolling out Transition Pathways in EU Industrial Ecosystems
    We will discuss and brainstorm how clusters can play a role in designing Transition Pathways (transformative initiatives to achieve the twin green and digital transition and increase resilience) and then implement them in their industrial ecosystem.


  • Breakout session 4 – Strengthening EU Supply Chains and supporting Ukraine through EU business and industrial networks
    We will discuss how clusters can best serve EU Single Market to ensure a continuity of operations, a mitigation of supply chain disruptions and an anticipation of potential emergencies taking lessons learned from Covid-19 and the Russian aggression on Ukraine.

  • Breakout session 5 – Clusters and Regional economic/industrial Development
    We will exchange together in order to highlight the role of clusters in the regional socio-economic development and their role in integrating different policies through actions, projects and investments leading to green, digital transition and resilience building.

  • Breakout session 6 – Clusters as agents fostering cooperation among EU Industrial ecosystems
    The purpose is to raise awareness among the cluster community about the work of the Industrial Forum Task Force 4 - Identification and advise on cross-border and cross-ecosystem investment needs and cooperation opportunities. We will look together into possible future cooperation between industrial ecosystems and how to facilitate them.
