The European Cluster Conference 2022 was a unique opportunity to have a say about cluster-related policy developments at EU, national and regional level, learn about EU cluster initiatives for post-COVID-19 recovery, addressing supply chain disruptions and clusters' role in the roll out of Transition Pathways in the different industrial ecosystems.
It was also the occasion to find out about the work of the European Expert Group on Clusters, to give feedback in relation to the priorities of the European Commission and the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU and comment on challenges and opportunities.
The participants also heard from the experiences of cluster policy makers, cluster managers and experts, plus exchanged ideas and best practices.
The participants got the chance to vote for the Awards for the European Cluster Manager of the Year and fond out more about the European Cluster Partnerships of the Year.

MATCHMAKING
The matchmaking event within the European Cluster Conference offered the delegates a dedicated framework to find potential business partners at all stages of the supply chain.

The plenary sessions was introduced by high-level speakers including the Czech Vice-Minister for Industry and Trade, the EU Commission representatives, political leaders, academics and business leaders who presented their perspectives on the clusters as drivers for the implementation of Transition Pathways in various Industrial ecosystems, or more largely of industrial change. The audience was composed of up to 40 panellists representing public administration, cluster organisations, businesses, research bodies, etc.
